Ecuadorian figures

Ecuadorian figures

This is the Otavalo market just outside Quito in Ecuador. It's supposed to be the biggest market in South America and the whole town revolves around its trade. The textiles, woolens and leather goods are amazing! I particularly liked these figures and they gave me a real feel of Ecuador.

In the Mskishi Market

In the Makishi Market, Naha

The Makishi Public Market is a market place near "Kokusai dori (the International Street)" which is the most prosperous street in downtown Naha. It was established in 1951. This market place has a two-storied building. In the first floor, you can buy many curious foodstuffs of Okinawa, e.g., heads or legs of pigs and brilliantly colorful fish. What's more, you can have them cooked and eat them in restaurants on the second floor.

Mulled wine

Forralt bor

I really loved the atmosphere of the market in Budapest- it was nice to see real crafts made by craftsmen. The forralt bor or mulled wine was good too.
